Procurement Policy

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation's (KCDC) Statement of Procurement Policy complies with the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Annual Contributions Contract (ACC), HUD Handbook 7460.8, "Procurement Handbook for Public Housing Agencies" and the procurement standards of 24 CFR 85.36.

The purpose of this Statement of Procurement Policy is to provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all persons or firms involved in purchasing by KCDC; assure that supplies, services and construction are procured efficiently, effectively and at the most favorable prices available; promote competition in contracting; provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity; and assure that purchasing actions are in full compliance with applicable Federal standards, HUD regulations and State and local laws.
